Maintenance mode:
To activate Maintenance mode, hold Minus Plus at the safety screen.
192 piece puzzle:
To play a 192 piece puzzle, go to the puzzle selection screen and hold 1.
Shop Channel fireballs:
Download a game in the Shop channel and when Mario or Luigi appear while wearing the Fire Flower costume, press B.
Customize Wii Channel layout:
Hold A B while moving the Wii Pointer over a Wii Channel to move it to another location. Note: You can?t move the channel you select to play Wii/GC games on.
Photo Channel hints:
-To hear hints about the system enter the photo viewer menu and use the Wiimote to select the cat that appears on the top title bar before it runs away.
-If you do a mood change to a movie file, the sound is also changed.
-Press DOWN on the D-pad and select the eraser while doodling. This will undo some of your changes.
-Press ? ?or ?-?during a slide show to adjust the volume. There are more volume options with MP3 files than there are with the default music.
-When you have tons of photos on your SD Card, you can press UP or DOWN on the D-pad to browse through them.
-If you hold some buttons down, you sometimes scroll faster.
-An easy way to create composite photos is by first using the scissors to cut a piece out of one photo, then just move to the photo you want to paste that piece onto.
-The scissors in Doodle can do more than just cut. Press 1 while you cut or after you have cut.
-Aim the pointer at a photo and press UP or DOWN on the D-pad to have something happen around the pointer.
-A simple way to move from a close-up of one photo to a close-up of the next is by press LEFT or RIGHT on the D-pad.
-With a picture selected, press UP or DOWN on the D-pad and a censor-like blur will appear over the picture. It either gets smaller as you move the Wiimote farther back or larger as you move it closer to the sensor.
?-To increase or decreasing the size of tools in Doodle mode, move your Wiimote closer to the sensor to increase the size of whatever tool you are using. You can also decrease the size by moving the Wiimote farther away from the sensor.
Cat in Photo Channel:
-Press A B to get hints about the News Channel from the cat that appears in the Photo Channel
-Select a picture and select “Fun!” at the top of the screen. Eventually you should see a cat. Catch the cat by pointing the Wiimote at it and pressing A. After catching the cat, it will tell you hints about the “Fun!” option.
-After grabbing the cat on the Photo channel, the next time you try to get him he will run away. You must sneak to get him again.
Blue pants in Mii channel:
You need a friend with their own Wii to do this. First, transfer one of their Miis onto your Wiimote. Now go to your Wii and transfer them on the Mii channel and they will have the blue pants.
Turn globe in Weather Channel:
Hold A to grab the Earth and move the Wiimote to the left or right while still pointing at the screen. Release A when you move the globe to make it spin.
Orion constellation:
Go to the News or Forecast Channel and go to the globe. View the Earth as far back as possible and go to Asia with The Philippines almost in the middle. Look to the far right of the world and you will see the Orion constellation.
System update hint:
Note: You must have an Internet connection.(wireless, LAN, USB adapter, etc). Test the Internet connection or go to “Wii System Update” at the Wii options menu to enhance your Wii’s capabilities and allow it to use the other channels on the Home menu.
Determine your Wiimote battery life:
Press HOME to see your Wiimote’s battery life. When the battery life is at one bar, the light on your Wiimote grows dim. You can also check your battery life by turning on your Wiimote. The number of lights flashing represents the battery life.?
