Mega Man Zero 1: Easier way to get Jackson:
Simply collect and power-up every cyber elf without using any in normal mode, and beat the game once. After you continue from your old save, you’ll get Jackson.
Mega Man Zero 1: Easy Mode:
You can get a slightly easier game. If you finish the game and save after the credits, you can begin a new game with all of your old equipment, though they won’t be leveled up yet. This means you can start with the upgrades from cyber elves in effect, like double life gauge and protection from spikes.
Mega Man Zero 1: Jackson Mode:
It is possible to obtain this very rare cyber elf, but I didn’t say it was easy. Play through Hard Mode and collect (as well as power up to the max) every cyber elf, as well as getting Ranking A or S on every mission. If you start a new game from that saved game, you’ll begin with every cyber elf, including Jackson.
Mega Man Zero 1: Skip Credits:
After completing the game and saving when the game prompts you to do so, hold A when the credits appear when you complete the game any other time. Note: You must have at least one save with a ”1” or higher to the right of your total play time.
Mega Man Zero 1: Starting a game in Hard Mode:
After completing the game, you can start a new game in Hard Mode by holding the left shoulder button down while starting a new file. In Hard Mode, weapons do not gain levels, and bosses have new attacks.
Mega Man Zero 1: Ultimate Mode:
Once getting passed the challenge of getting Jackson, Ultimate Mode is a bit easier to unlock. Simply hold R when selecting a new game after playing through Jackson Mode and using every cyber elf to play Ultimate Mode. Though the name suggests otherwise, this mode allows you to start with all of your weapons maxed out and with the effects of cyber elves already in place; permanent cyber elves no longer effect ranking. Also, you can now perform any of Zero’s charged attacks without actually charging them. To fire a semi-charged Z-Buster shot, press Down to Forward B (doing this combination with the Z-Shield equipped will use a charged Z-Shield throw). To perform a charged Z-Buster shot, press Down to Forward, Down to Forward B. To perform a charged Z-Sabre slash, press Forward to Down B. To perform a charged Z-Rod swing, press Forward, Down, Down-Forward B.
Mega Man Zero 1: Completion bonus:
Complete the game, then save it after the credits complete. Start a new game to begin with the items obtained in the first game.
Mega Man Zero 1: Weapon abilities:
Below is a list of each weapon and their abilities. Note: The order unlocked depends on the player:

Mega Man Zero 1: Shield level up hint:
When inside the resistance, you can leave and return to past levels. Go up to the surface and move to the right until you get to the regenerating pillars. Stand next to the wall and charge your Shield Boomerang, then jump and throw your boomerang so that you hit the top section and let yourself fall to the ground. If done correctly, your Shield Boomerang should circle you forever if you do not move. Allow the game to idle for about twenty minutes to reach the maximum level.
Mega Man Zero 1: Energy Crystal hints:
-Return to the factory after defeating Phantom and saving the factory to receive a number of Energy Crystals, especially in the last room of the level. Note: This can only be done once.
-This method requires patience and batteries. After completing the Reploid Disposal mission, go back to where the smashed truck is located to find a Large Energy Crystal on it. There, a Drop Reploid carrying a Spike Bot will appear. Slice, spear, throw, or blast them both so they drop Energy Crystals (large or small). Metals may also drop.
-First, win all three desert missions. Then, when you go to the desert after you pass up the broken helicopter, there are robotic heads for a while. When you get to the claw trap, go back and forth slicing them to receive Energy Crystals. Kill the Voltures for life.
Mega Man Zero 1: Easy lives hint:
Make sure the Occupy Factory mission is available. Begin the level by killing the flying shield enemies. When you reach the end near the Big Life Restore area, Dash Jump to the left then slash the trap and Dash Jump over there. Slash the trap and then Dash Jump to the silver platform, then, at the very tip, Dash Jump to the right. Destroy the mines with a long range weapon. Dash Jump to the other side and shoot the other mines. Dash Jump and you will finally be on ground, then slash away at the door and go in the vent. Slash the fans and get the large crystal container and a life, then go up and take the Cyber Elf. Remember this short cut, since it will be vital for your Protect Base mission. Go through all the level until you arrive at the elevator part, then go all the way down. Collect the crystals and destroy the spider enemies, then go to the moving wood robots. Be sure not to lose your gained life. Ride and Dash onto the other moving platforms until you reach two spiders hanging from the bottom. Dash Jump up and Wall Jump up there for another life. There is also a Cyber Elf down there. Jump off the platform to die. Don’t worry, you are only losing one life but getting two in the process. Repeat the process to get extra lives, crystals, and level up weapons.
Mega Man Zero 1: Cyber Elf hints :
-At the start of the game, there is a Cyber Elf hidden behind the wall in the back of the room you get resurrected in. With the Z Saber, stand on top of the case and do a Jump Saber attack. There’s another Cyber Elf in the Resistance Base. Answer “No” when Ceil asks you to help them, then take the elevator to the bottom floor and talk to the man who is laying down. Give him the Energy Crystals that he asks for to get past him. There is a room a short distance past him with another jar that you must use the Jump Saber attack on.
-In the level where you defeat Aztec Falcon, continuously destroy the first spiked pillar until a Cyber Elf appears. On the same level, go down to a level in the base where there is an old Reploid with a long beard. Press Up to? listen to his entire story and receive a Cyber Elf in return.
-On the Junkyard level with trucks, Drop Bots will be dropping Spike Bots. one contains a Cyber Elf, so keep destroying every Spike Bot until the Cyber Elf is found.
Mega Man Zero 1: Aztec Falcon strategy:
-Aztec Falcon is the second boss. Before you talk to Jackson to save “your data”, walk to the left to explore. Explore all the rooms and? find some items while trying to find your way back to where you were fighting the first Boss. Do this to level-up your weapons, at least until your Z-saber charges up (you need this ability to defeat Aztec Falcon). After defeating that Boss, talk to the person that is held captive in the trash compactor to get a Thunder Chip which gives your weapons a slight boost and paralyzes most enemies.
-Get on the wall when the fight starts and watch how he dashes at the wall you are on. When he jumps up, jump off the wall and attack with the Z-Saber until he is split in half. Note: When he dashes at a wall, he will always jump up.
Mega Man Zero 1: X second form strategy:
-First, upgrade your Z-Saber skill to the fifth or sixth level to charge it faster. Use the Ice Chip, charge your Z-Saber, climb any of the two vertical platforms, and jump-slash towards X’s head. Be careful when jumping at X’s head since you may hit X’s hand.
-When he shoots rings from his head, stand on one side of the platform. When you see rings start to appear from the top of the screen, dash to the opposite side of the platform. He will then use two random attacks, then shoots rings again. One attack is when he puts his hands about a foot apart with palms facing inward, then a beam shoots out at the ground and the ground catches fire. Make sure you jump on the spiked platform wall in the direction of the beam. When he points his palms toward the player and yellow spots start to blink on his hands, avoid this attack the same way you did the rings (dash to the opposite side of the platform immediately when the yellow beams shoot at you). In mid-attack, jump on the platform walls then jump off again with charged Z Sabre without an element. The other elements take about 16 hits to kill him while a normal Z Sabre only takes 8 hits, saving you time and health (if you avoid his hands and attacks successfully). You should also take along Nurse Cyber Elves.
Mega Man Zero 1: Saber against bosses:
Use the following elements against the corresponding bosses:
Companions
Anubis (Wolf) – Fire
Maha Ganesharrif (Elephant) – Lightning
Blizzack Staggrof (Ox) – Fire
Herculious Anchortus (Bug) – Ice
Generals
Harpiua (Green) – Ice
Fafnir (Red) – Lightning
Leviathan (Blue) – Fire
Phantom (Black) – Lightning or Fire
Mega Man Zero 1: Delete all enemies:
Use the Cyber Elf that turns all enemies into Metalls, then the Cyber Elf that deletes all small enemies. Since all enemies are Metalls, they are considered small and they will be deleted.
Mega Man Zero 1: Shield/Boomerang tricks:
To dash while using the Shield/Boomerang, have the shield in hand, then press Dash Left or Right simultaneously. You should be dash jumping with the Shield. You can also dash jump off walls with the Shield by holding Dash and jumping onto a wall and climbing it.
Mega Man Zero 1: Triple Rod pogo stick:
When you receive the Triple Rod, go to the Disposal Center either with the TRANCE or the elevator out of the Base. Keep going until you reach? ladders and platforms going up. When you get to the bottom, jump so that you are directly above the spiked column enemy, then hold Down Attack. Your Triple Rod will come out and point down. Each time you touch the invincible top of the enemy, you will bounce. After about the first bounce, the enemy will grow destructible segments, sending you higher. Hold Jump to bounce even higher. Go to the left while bouncing to see a Cyber Elf container and an Energy Crystal. Use your Z-Saber aerial attack to slash open the container.
Mega Man Zero 1: Charged Z Saber without charging:
In Ultimate mode, press Right (or Left), Down/Right (or Down/Left), then Down and the Z Saber to unleash? a charged Z Saber without charging.
Mega Man Zero 1: Locked door hint:

Mega Man Zero 1: Bounce on spikes glitch:
In the Disposal Center Area, there are columns with spikes on top that rise and fall. When you receive the Triple Rod weapon, find one of those columns, jump above it, and use the straight down attack with the Triple Rod to bounce on top of the spiked column.
Mega Man Zero 1: Charge buster glitch:
After defeating the Golem in the underground laboratory, you can charge your buster without going to the next level.
Mega Man Zero 1: Strange graphics glitch:
In the Find The Hidden Base level, when you reach the iced ground, jump high enough and the pixels will slightly glitch. Note: Use the Moon Jump.

Mega Man Zero 2: More levels with Chain Rod:
Earn more attack points by repeatedly hitting on a life or money object.
Mega Man Zero 2: Easy lives:
-Repeatedly return to The Desert Ambush? and Ice Temple to gain more 1-ups.
-At the Polar Freeze zone on the second ice blocks, dash until you get to the fourth block and grab the extra life. Note: Repeatedly defeat the Boss and escape to get a lot of lives.
Mega Man Zero 2: Combo hints:
-Equip Ultimate Form, then use Buster Shot while pressing Down/Forward B (for Buster attack) to obliterate anything in front of you.
-First, equip all the EX-Skills. First, dash and Z-Saber, then hold Up and Z-Saber, and hold Down and press Z-Saber.
-To Equip Chain Rod as R and Z-Saber as B, hold B R until they are fully charged. Then, release B then R for a close range attack.
Mega Man Zero 2: Rare elf:
The rare elf “Zero” can be found in Forest Of Dysis (the stage with the forest) on easy mode. Destroy the statue that raises water and throws purple beams, then jump the pit and slide on the left side wall through a secret passage. Keep sliding down and on the way you should find the rare elf as well as a secret area with lots of crystals and an extra life.
Mega Man Zero 2: Secret area in Crystal Caves:
At the beginning, go up the hill and destroy two robots. Then, go down (watch out for the spikes at the bottom of the hill) and start going up the second hill. Jump on the ledge but, instead of jumping over the ledge, slide down the wall on the right in the pit and keep holding it. You?ll enter a secret area that has a cyber-elf capsule and a life. Note: Youwill need the light-blue armor or else you?ll fall into the spikes.
Mega Man Zero 2: Extra life in Sand Wilderness:
Talk to the Operator and transfer to Sand Wilderness (the first area that you are in). There is an extra life hidden after the second mini-Boss, after the bird in its nest next to a gunman, but before the two birds in one nest.
Mega Man Zero 2: Robot nests in Sand Wilderness:
In the Sand Wilderness (the desert area), the mecha-vultures launch from what appears to be a nest, but it is actually the ruined remains of an enemy robot.
Mega Man Zero 2: Boss hint:
For easy wins against most Bosses, charge the Z-Saber and attack the Boss repeatedly until it is destroyed.
Mega Man Zero 2: Scorpion Hunter strategy:
The Scorpion will block your buster shots with his claw-shield, as well as launch it at you. Avoiding the projectile slows down the battle, but there is a way around it. When the Scorpion launches his claw-shield at you, attack it with your Saber to give it two or three hits with the Proto Form active in Hard mode. You might receive damage while doing this, depending on your timing. When the claw-shield is destroyed, the Boss is open to attacks. Dash in and hack his head with your Saber, or shoot from a distance with your Buster (the Saber works faster).
Mega Man Zero 2: Buster Shield hint:
Have the Buster Shot as your main weapon and Shield Boomerang as your sub-weapon. Enter attack mode B, then hold R and press B. Note: You can also charge the Buster Shield.
Mega Man Zero 2: Final mastery hint:
When the final boss? rises slightly higher into the air, dash under him and use the Upward Slash technique, which requires the Fire Chip equipped and the “Tenshouzan” EX skill. Also try using the Active Form, the fastest form in the game, to get in and out faster. This will do let you do great damage and keep you safe if you?re focused.
Mega Man Zero 2: Ultimate form moves:
There are special moves when in ultimate form. Two of them are Down/Forward B with the Saber equipped, and Down/Forward B with the Buster equipped.

Mega Man Zero 2: Misspelling:
After defeating a Boss, X will appear and start talking about the Dark Elf. He will say “With my remaining power, I’m still TYING NOT WAKE her up…,” instead of “With my remaining power, I’m still TRYING NOT TO wake her up…”
-After defeating the four bosses on the monitors, Elpizo will tell the members of the resistance to fire at Neo Arcadia. Before he teleports, he says “Don’t worry. We can work this OUR later”, instead of “We can work this OUT later.”
Mega Man Zero 2: Thunderball glitch:
Go to the stage “Power Room” and keep going through the level until you come across the pink floors. Above from the pink floor is a blue ceiling. Blow it up. Beneath the pink floor is an enemy that changes elements. First it shoots fire so make sure you are the electric element when doing this. After it shoots a fireball, it will then shoot a thunderball.
