All-star mode:
To unlock All-Star mode, unlock all bonus characters.
Boss battle mode:
To unlock Boss battle mode, complete SSE (Subspace Emissary) mode.
“More Rules” option:
To unlock the “More Rules” option located at the bottom of the “Rules” menu, get 200 KOs in a “Standard Brawl” mode.
Random stage selection:
After unlocking all 41 stages, you can exclude any stage from the random selection.
Unlockable events:
Unlock the following events by performing the corresponding tasks:
EVENT – HOW TO UNLOCK
Co-op Events 9 to 13 – Unlock R.O.B. and complete the Subspace stage in SSE mode.
Co-op Events 14 to 20 – Complete 10 Co-op events and unlock all hidden characters.
Co-op Event 21 – Complete all 20 Co-op events.
Events 11 to 20 – Complete 5 of the first 10 events.
Events 21 to 28 – Unlock R.O.B. and complete the Subspace stage in SSE mode.
Events 29 to 40 – Unlock all hidden characters.
Event 41 – Complete all 40 events.
