Cheat mode:
To unlock all combos, upgrades, maximum money, health refill, and power rejuvenation, go to the 3D game section. Then, pause the game and press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start.
Evil Ulrich:
To unlock evil Ulrich, at the profile selection screen, while holding L R, press Up, Left, Right, Y, X.

Attack while blocking:
To attack while blocking, use Odd and have the Defense upgrade. Press B to block until a monster shoots a projectile at you. Continue to hold B after it is reflected. Start shooting and when you are attacked it will be blocked as if you had your shield up.
Best upgrades hint:
To get the best upgrades first, get the? LP upgrade first, then Double Attack, and finally the Double Defense. After that, it?s up to you.
Defense strategy:
When playing as any character with a defense upgrade (except for Aellita), it?s easier to face any monster. When the monsters appear, hold your shield and learn their attack pattern. When they?re going to shoot you, release and press B. The bullets will rebound. If the monster does not react, get closer. Repeat until all monsters die. Note: This doesn?t work on bosses.
Scorpion strategy:
You face the Scorpion three times; Yumi, Odd, then Ulrich. Do about two to three circles of damage until the Scorpion runs away. Keep your distance from the Scorpion. When he gets close, get in front of him and strike while he is turning. When you do this, he falls and you can hit him a few more times. When he gets up, run away. Repeat this until you defeat him.
XANA Ulrich strategy:
First, make sure you have your sound on. Keep your distance until you hear the clone shout. This means he is getting ready for a charge attack. Take the opportunity to strike. You can get around five hits in before he attacked. Stay away until he shouts again. Repeat this until you are victorious.
