Cheat Codes:
Note: This procedure requires editing a game file; it is recommended that you create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Open a text editor to edit the “config.cfg” file in the “Documents and SettingsMy DocumentsEuro Truck Simulator” directory. Change the following lines:

uset g_console “0”
uset g_developer “0”

into:

uset g_console “1”
uset g_developer “1”

Afterward, press ~ during game play to display the console window and enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat functions:

Once found, change the value of the “money_account” line to any amount desired.

No traffic hint:

uset g_traffic “1”

into:

uset g_traffic “0”

There will now be no traffic.

Custom transmission hint:

Start the game and create a user profile (if one does not already exist). Enter the folder that corresponds to that user profile in the “Documents and SettingsDocumentsEuro Truck SimulatorSave” directory and use a text editor to open the “game.sii” file. Then, modify the value of the rpm_limit line as desired. Note: Trucks have nine gears. For example, a 15000 rpm limit will set your first gear km/h to about 75 and you will accelerate rapidly. It is highly recommended that you use the manual transmission option for this trick. You must do this for each new truck.

Set the value of the exp_points line to a high number (for example, 30,000).

Hazard lights:
For easier driving, press F during game play to turn on your hazard lights. No cars will then overtake you.
