Striker select:
Select a character, then hold the corresponding buttons at the preparation screen before pressing Circle to start the mission. This can be done in Story, Challenge, and Arcade modes.

Goei – Hold L before starting a mission.
Kakouton – Do not hold any buttons before starting a mission.
Seji – Hold R before starting a mission.

Ryuu Sonsaku – Complete Story mode as Nanyou under the Normal or Hard difficulty.
Shibai Chuutatsu – Complete Arcade mode as Ato.
